Hold ICE Agents Accountable

On December 4, 2025, Jose Paniagua Calderón was detained by ICE agents in Vancouver, Washington. Cellphone video captured by community members appears to show an ICE vehicle striking and running over his foot as he screamed in pain. The Calderón family reports that he was denied immediate medical care and forcibly taken into custody, leaving them without answers about his condition or whereabouts for days. 

Statement by Jose Paniagua Calderón's family: “Jose was wrongfully and brutally arrested. He was denied proper medical attention and given inconsistent medication while being repeatedly transferred without due process. Our family is speaking out because this treatment is inhumane and unjust”.
